CEDAR FEATHER BOX
The Native American Indians used a cedar feather box to
store and preserve special feathers. Each one meant
something to the Indian and they sure didn’t want damage to
come to it.
The cedar feather box is 12” long by 4”by 2” which is
long enough and wide enough to hold one or two feathers in
perfect condition. As cedar repels insects, the cedar
feather box protects the feathers.
Cedar is beautifully grained and sturdy, so anything put
inside the box is very well protected. Its beauty adds to
the décor of any room. Many times a picture is added to the
top or someone engraves words of wisdom on it.
The cedar feather box is as much a traditional item as
other Indian items.

Hope for a bright future. In
the Great Depression Hope is all that people had. It
does not mater the size of cedar hope chest you have
as long as you have one to put your hope in. In 1930
cedar chests of all sizes and shapes sprung out every
where in the mid-west and eastern sea board....
